ARCHITECT SKETCHES (ASK) is an organization dedicated to the promotion of architecture sketching around the world.
To this end we are organizing PERU 2019 contest, which is an international competition that celebrates the art and skills of architectural drawing. This competition is not restricted to architects, but it is also opened to students, professionals and everyone interested in this kind of Architectural Art.
The proposals submission consists of one single part:
Participants should send –via Internet– their proposal, which should consist of one (1) physical -sent by postal mail- and another digital image uploaded in the web. The presentation technique is open and at the discretion of the artist or designer. However, we encourage artist to send their handmade drawings done with the next materials.
The presentation should clearly document the idea as well as the approach to the site, in this case Perú. Ideas regarding organization, materials, treatment of the location as well as the design of any building (done or conceptually invented) should be included when considered relevant.
Participants will have to send the draw in a physically way, to the next address in Peru:
Av. Jacinto Lara 287 Office 201, Zip Code 15073 San Isidro, Lima, Peru. Your image should have your registration number on the upper right side of the sheet.
All physical and digital proposals must be sent until February 28nd, 2019 at midnight (23:59 Lima time). Competitors will be responsible for the arrival of their proposals within the corresponding deadlines and no proposal will be received one day after the date previously stated.

Competitors will be able to confirm if their physical proposals have been received 24 hours after sending, in the profile section named PROPOSALS, which will be available at the last week of the competition.
The judges will review and evaluate the proposals and choose the winners. The judges will base their decision on their own experience and on the information provided by the contestants which will come with the image submitted. Each jury member will review the proposals submitted.
ARCHITECT SKETCHES’s General Advisor, Cecile Blanchett, will observe and participate in each meeting of the judges to ensure that the development and follow up of the objectives of the contest are met.
